Adzuki Beans are similar to Mung bean sprouts but crisper & sweeter flavor. Sprouts have a very high level of vitamins. Adzuki Beans can be prepared deep fried, stir-fried, steamed, or fresh as part of a salad.

Most popularly used in Asian cuisine in both sweet and savory applications, Adzuki Beans are packed with nutrients and work in meals or just by themselves as a snack. Adzuki beans are loaded with protein, potassium, iron, and copper.

  • Soaking time - 8 to 12 hours
  • Rinsing frequency - 2 to 3 times a day
  • Total sprout time - 3 to 4 days
  • Yield - 1 cup of seed makes 2 cups of sprouts

While Adzuki is often sprouted and eaten that way, the bean itself can be used in several cooking applications. the bean can also be planted to yield more beans in the future!
