- A newer squash developed by Cornell University with a high sugar content and strong resistance to powdery mildew.
Cucurbita moschata (100-110 days) Honey Nut Squash originates from Cornell University. We remember being in Cornell's fields just a few years ago as they were developing this squash. It is totally new and not an heirloom, but it is open pollinated. Very high sugar content when fully ripe. Approx. 175 seeds/ounce.
