Cucurbita moschata (100-110 days) Honey Nut Squash originates from Cornell University. We remember being in Cornell's fields just a few years ago as they were developing this squash. It is totally new and not an heirloom, but it is open pollinated. Very high sugar content when fully ripe. Approx. 175 seeds/ounce.

What is so special about Honey Nut? A strong resistance to powdery mildew! Not to mention the perfect/uniform 4-5" mini-butternut fruit with luscious orange flesh. Very easy to cut in half and bake. Stores well.
