- This pickling cucumber was developed by the University of North Carolina Agricultural Experiment Station and is often used by commercial growers because of its high yielding uniform fruit and disease resistance.
The Calypso F1 cucumber is in the pickle variety, and has a medium green outer with a small white spine. The plant is very productive, and grows cucumbers 3" long and 1" wide. It is a strong plant, resistant to mildew and viruses.
