Alaska made its debut in 1881 in England as 'Earliest of All'. The famed pea breeder Thomas Laxton created Alaska by crossing the peas Ringleader and Little Gem. One of the earliest and cold hardy peas we grow.

Plants are 26"-36" tall. The pea pods are 2.5"-3" X .5", round, straight, containing 5-8 peas per pod. Smooth seeded. Very heavy yields. Not intensely sweet, but very tasty. Excellent emergence in cool soils. Farm Favorite for reliability. (50 days).
