Silene Seeds

Commonly known as Catchfly and Campion, Silene is widely spread, particularly in the Northern Hemisphere. The name "Silene" comes from the Greek word "Silenus," the name of a woodland deity. The flowers vary in shape, color, and number of petals. Some blooms are simple, five-petal, and white while others have up to 12 petals that are long and red. Bottom line: Silene is a showy diverse plant, elegant in its aesthetic.
