Kentucky Wonder Brown Pole Beans
Also known as Easter Wonder, Old Homestead Pole, and Texas Pole, Kentucky Wonder is easier to harvest than most bush beans. Water lightly to keep soil moist but do not over water. Control weeds with cultivation or mulch. Use of supports will increase your yield of beans such as strings, fence, or poles.

When picking the bean pods (ideal size 6-8") be careful not to damage the new blossoms that will form into your future bean crop. Pick young for best texture and flavor to prevent over mature stringy bean pods. Do not pick when plants are wet.
