Salad Burnet Herb Seed - Microgreens
Salad burnet matures at about 24" tall with a unique, colorful spread of round fuchsia blooms very similar to crimson clover. Similar to all leafy greens, harvest burnet leaves when young and tender for best flavor. Salad burnet is a warm weather crop that can be started indoors or sown directly after the frost. For earliest starts, begin indoors 6-8 weeks prior to final frost. Sow 2-3 seeds ¼ in deep per cell or every 6-8 inches in the garden in moderately moist, fertile, and well-drained soil in full sun. Germinates in 7-10 days, thin back to 1 plant per pot or 10-12 in. apart in garden once true leaves establish. Burnet is not tolerant to drought, frost, or extremes.
