Matsutakes are said to have a spicy flavor that is sometimes compared to cinnamon, but no description will suffice... you have to experience it for yourself! Matsutakes are prized in Japan because of their aroma and flavor. With Matsutakes, less is sometimes more, as their powerful flavor can overwhelm a dish if too much is used.
