Dried Lobster mushrooms available in both 1 & 4 oz. packages. This all natural dehydrated fungi has a rich red-orange color, with a delicious seafood-like flavor, and a firm, dense texture. Great in soups, stews, chowders, or even a stir fry.

Dehydrated Gourmet Lobster Mushrooms - All Natural Dried Fungi

  • Dried Lobster Mushrooms: (Hypomyces lactifluorum)
  • 1 ounce of dried mushrooms reconstitutes to about 12 ounces reconstituted
  • Available in 1 ounce or 4 ounce packages

Lobster mushrooms get their name from being similar in appearance to the lobster crustacean, having a reddish orange outer color, with a creamy white interior. Lobster mushrooms have a seafood-like taste, and are great in stews or other dishes that might benefit from a distinct meaty taste.

To Reconstitute Lobster Mushrooms: Rinse and soak in water for 20 minutes or more. Use soon after re-constituting. If brewing into a tea, can be steeped directly from the dried mushroom.
