Toraji Seeds (Balloon Flower)

Toraji is a Perennial flower from the Campanula family. It is also known by the names Balloon Flower, Chinese Bell Flower, and Japanese Bell Flower. Out here in the west it is most commonly seen as an ornamental plant, however, it has been used as a medicinal plant throughout Asia. Its blooms form a balloon shape before appearing as a five-pointed star in shades of blue and purple. As for its medicinal purposes, the root is often added to salads, cold soup, vegetables, or served on its own. Its natural properties are said to help with inflammation, cough, and phlegm relief.
