Roselle Seeds
Roselle Seeds
Roselle is a plant commonly found in tropical and subtropical climates. It is known by many names including Florida Cranberry, Indian Sorrel, Jamaican Tea, Maple-Leaf Hibiscus, October Hibiscus, and Red Sorrell. Here the leaves and fruits are commonly used as specialties in their cuisine. You can also grow in temperate regions as a summer annual. For a regular leaf harvest, all summer long start cutting 6 weeks after the plant is transplanted or it reaches 18" tall. Then continue to harvest in 4-week increments. The fruit can also be harvested from the mature plant.
