17 to 20 days. Non-GMO. Pimpinella anisum. Anise herb gardening seeds grown as microgreens. Micro-anise has a mild licorice flavor. It has even been referred to as the "“licorice microgreen" because it has a strong licorice flavor--even more than certain basils that have licorice undertones. With serrated true leaves, anise microgreens have a unique look and an even more unique flavor.
Anise microgreens seeds require a bit of patience as they can take over two weeks from seed to microgreen harvest stage. No microgreen seed soak necessary just water heavily at the time of planting. Cover seeds with a thin layer of soil or a moist paper towel. This process helps the seeds receive adequate darkness and moisture during their germination time. Additionally, keep the microgreens seeds covered with another tray until the cotyledons appear and the seedlings start reaching for the light. At that point place your growing anise microgreens seeds next to a window or under a grow light until harvest time.
