The Lollo Rosso thrives in full sun or partial shade, and can be grown in zones 4-9. The leaves of the Lollo Rosso have a mildly sweet flavor. Lollo Rosso is a beautiful green color with dark pink edges. Grown in cooler areas, and slow to bolt, it is perfect for beginners. Makes a beautiful garnish and adds color and texture to salads.

Start by sowing the non-GMO seeds 1/2 inch in moist soil with twelve inches between plants and eighteen inches between rows.
